Annual Spring Craft Fair

A BIG Thank You to all that made it out the annual spring craft fair at work this week!  It was so nice to see you ALL.  It feels like a reunion each year as I get the opportunity to see old friends and make new ones.

Love this technique and a Big Thank you to Patty Bennett for sharing this great tutorial:

Blossom Punch 3x3 Note Cards

Wedding Baroque Motifs and YouTube Video Share on Custom Envies ...

Needed an envelope for this 5x7 card and remembered an AWESOME tutorial by Michael Funke ... so took notes and made one that fit PERFECTLY.   Thanks Michael!!

Masculine Happy Birthday

Love that these stamps are offered in digital format.  Colored with sponge daubers and ink pad.  Added 3-D effect with the brads.  Used the Stampin' Up! Mat Pack to mark the placement for the brads.

Mixed Bunch ... Blossom Punch

Another day filled with lots of paper crafting ... won't you join in!  If you haven't made at least one card today, get that paper, punch, scissors, pop-dots and tape out and get busy ;-)

With a bit of bling ...

Lattice Die Cards ...

Tiny Milk Carton Die Birdhouse Ornament

These little dies are the cutest!  Cut this little baby out with the Big Shot and built that little birdy his very own house ... am thinking these would make cute little ornaments.  The little tealight inside is battery operated and easily accessible to turn off.  Totally got this idea from searching this awesome thing called the internet!  What did we do before it? ;-)

Spring Bouquet of Roses

The last of the roses made so far have now all been handpainted.  Now off to make more cards ;-)

White Rose Bouquet

Just finished these and the stems I found smell like roses ... AMAZING!  I think I may need to go and find some more of those .... brings these flowers to "real life" ... if you haven't already gotten the chance to try these, I highly recommend it ... very relaxing!

Stay tuned as these will be seeing color in the near future ;-)  Have a blessed Saturday!

Here is a special order card for a Friend's Daughter's 21st Birthday.

Watercolored Roses ... SO MUCH FUN!

Lunch time is finally here and I wanted to get a quick post in before I have to get back to work.  Okay, so as I've shared with many of you before, I have got to stop finding new things to try in the crafting world ... I love all things crafty!!!  And now for the premier release of my first watercolored coffee filter rose ... what do you think?  Something that you might like to try?  If you do, please share your pictures as I don't believe any two will ever look identical and that is one part of these I love.  Add your own flare ... create a new color and make it your own!  Happy Friday and check back later as there will be a lot of crafting going on this weekend!

First Coffee Filter Roses

So here is the first of many ... Since this is #1, I wanted to see what a plain white one would turn out like and it was fun.  My first time using floral tape and it is a bit tacky but hope to get the hang of it after a few more.  I have read several techniques so I am combining them to make it work for me.  Will be trying to water color this one soon and will repost.

So many ideas rolling around ... like scenting them with rose oil and adding to some bath salts and a candle for a nice little gift perhaps ...

Bird Punch ...

I'm in my element today ... craft day vacation! Thought I'd take a break and post this little guy.  It is a hybrid card created using My Digital Studio^TM (MDS) Software from Stampin' Up!, the Big Shot and the following other embellishments:

Digital Stamps: Curly Cute Thank You

Digital Punches: Wide Oval Punch

Bird Punch

Little Leaves Sizzlits

Extra Large Oval Punch

YouTube Video Share ... Big Shot Machine

A few of you have asked what is the Big Shot and what does it do ... well here is a video I found just for you!

Roof Flashing in the Big Shot ... Big Winner!

The metal is sharp but the Big Shot is sharper!  Cuts like butter, just be CAREFUL and sand block those edges!  Made my first cuts and here they are.  I like to experiment first before I put together projects so hope you enjoy the testing phases.  Oh and as you can see ... still LOVING the junk mail flowers!  So relaxing to make ... have you tried them yet?

Guess What I Bought Today? ...

You guessed it ;-)  Roof flashing and galvenized wire ... and now let's just pray that I can get it all to come together as pretty as Tish did in earlier post of the metal garden stakes .... I hope to have some items to share in the very, very near future ;-)

Wisteria Has Bloomed

Mama planted this Wisteria bush just for me years ago and every Spring it so touches my heart.  I am so thankful to see God's Hands in everything and this holds such a special place in my heart.  The blooms don't last long, so very happy I caught them this weekend.  Happy April 1st to all!  No Fool's Day here just a beautiful day filled with lots of love to all! ...
